Timing belt job DONE
all in all I think I put in around 10hrs of actual work time. Lot of BSin with my dad and the neighbors coming over to see what the hell I was doing. plus a couple trips into town and drink/eating breaks. So I say I paid myself around $70/hour to do this job. For some reason my wife doesn't think that means that I now have $700 to spend on things for the car but I'm workin on it.
lol - no extra parts
- only thing I had was the water pump drain plug, popped that back in and I was set.
That damn o-ring on the thermostat was a bitch to get to stay where it was supposed to, finally used a little grease to make the o-ring stick to the hose and then it was easy. My antifreeze was also more orange than pink so I don't know if they put dexcool in it last time or what.
