Stopped in a Audi/Volkswagon tuning shop today and they qouted me at 500-600 usd for a timing belt change. Now he said that includes the tensioners and everything required. Reasonable?

Paul Miller Audi in Parsippany NJ, i guess im gonna go look around at other places...i was soo desperate i even went to the gas station up the street.. he said like $1,000 but i dont feel very comfortable with a gas station fixing my car..
