just wanted to know if anyone could let me know the timing setting for my audi a4 2.6 v6 becouse i can not get the infomation from any other sorce this whould be very helpfull to me becouse my head gasget has gone ive got the replacement gasgets and on turning the crankshaft to t.d.c the timimg belt snaped and the camshafts have sprung out of sink this has been a complete nightmare for me PLEASE HELP cheers mick

 

There aren't timing settings. You have to have the Audi tools to lock the cam sprockets and also a tool that locks the crank in place. When everything is locked in, your engine is at TDC and set. Then you set the belt tensioner.
