Ill looking to get some tint on my black 02, im looking at 35% because i dont want the cops to give me any problems(live in NJ). Does any one have any pictures of the 35%, would u recommend this percent???

 

is that 35 light in or out? bc thats a hell of a differance. if ur worried about cops id go 50/50 bc thats legal plus people still can see ya lookin good. thats my phylosophy

 

What do u mean in or out? and is the 50% the next step up from 35?? do u hav any pics with the 50 on a car

 

Just take it to a local tint place and they will know all the legalities. Or if your board, search it on the web through google or yahoo. The standard measurement for tint is the amount of light - UV go through the tint. I just got 15 all the way around, although im in florida, so its pretty much legal except for the front 2 windows.

You can barely tell the diff with 50%

 

right but 35 is darker correct?

 

yes the lower the number the darker the tint.

 

i think a gradual change looks good. i got 15 on the back (pretty much black), 30 on the rear doors (still pretty dark because i have a black-on-black car), and 50 on the front doors, which you can barely see in certain lights, but at night it looks fairly dark. i'll post pics if i have time before it gets dark out today.
