My Suburban came with a dark tint, and I ended up removing it from the two front windows since I could not see well at night. It was particularly bad driving in the country, trying to turn at an intersection with no street lights - I had to open the window!

Also, be aware of the tint laws in your state - click here

I have 35 on the front and 13 in the rears, i can see fine at night. Being able to see at night depends a lot on what brand of tint you are running. i have noticed visibility is a lot easier from the expensive tint. I like the look of your car vitamin b6. Another factor in what % you use is your car color IMO it is a huge factor for me. Mine is red with black interior and the 35/13 combo is fine for me because in all reality my 35 is illegal in michigan anyway. Michigan law sucks! no tint on front at all! unless you put a 4" strip on the top of the window. has anyone seen this? it is the ugliest thing i have ever seen.
But on a good note, your car looks sweet good call on the 35

I really think the pics are making it look darker than it really is

You don't know anyone that has 35% tint so you can see it in person?

Or you can go to the tint shop and ask them to show you.

40-45% seems like a waste of money IMO but its your money and your car

I agree... I know you said you want something mild but I think 35% is mild (you can still see in the car, and out of the car at night time), and that you may be dissapointed if you get 40-45%

Yeah Ill just have to check it out when I get to the shop to be sure I guess.. But that looks like what I want. I think 50% would be a waste of money for sure..
