is it legal where u are, I have "your" car, and I definately would, except i would be pulled over in a second...if it's legal I say go for it!... I personally like the looks of the whole lamp blacked out, but I guess it's not very sensible for back up purposes...

tint every part of the tail light expect the clear strip, assuming you have a 99.5. on black cars it looks really nice. im gonna do it as soon as i get my car back on the road for good, lol.

In most states its illegal. I pulled a car over the other day for this reason butas a fellow car modder I let them go. Most officers will issue a ticket or in this state an equipment repair order which means a state inspector or police officer has to sign off that you corrected the mistake. If you get a repair order and ignore it your license is suspended.Your stop lights have to be clearly visible, most tinted lights are considered much too dim, although I do like the look. Honestly worst case scenario you get a 60 dollar ticket with no points or you have to pull the tint off.

its good to have a cop on the forums, now we can make sure things are legal or not. im pretty sure that everything is illegal in MN. the tint law here is nothing darker then 50% all around. well i have 35% and so far im doing goo with the cops. and with the cops signing off does it have to be someone in the city i got the ticket? i have a uncle that is a cop could i have him sign it?

In this state it's any police officer from the state of MD. As I said before I'm not sure which states do equipment repair orders (special inspection tickets) I just know that maryland does
