Yeah I don't like them that much either. I am going to replace them with the blue ones that were on the car originaly.

I've been looking just about everywhere online...has anyone seen tails that were painted a color other than black or tinted something other than darker?
I have an silver 02 and I was thinking about spraying them silver to blend with the car...but I don't know how it will look over the red and if the brake lights will shine thru enough...

 

now thats an idea...hey akoby if you read this in your first picture after you finished tinting the tails is your car sitting straight? it looks like its dropped to one side

 

What kinda paint did you use and what kind of clear coat it looks nice i wanna do mines

 

has anyone here tinted their tails using actual window tint, not spray. I was gonna put some 35% over my lights, maybe 20.

 

i was thinkin of doin my tail lights to does anyone live in the trenton area and know a place that has any kind of tint spray paint cause i even work at a hardware and supply store and they dont have anythin like it

 

wow this was an old thread... anyways, I ended up redoing them again after that picture... they are much better looking now

as for the car looking dropped only on one side. Thats just how it was parked...

yea they look good i wish my audi was black cause the black on black looks good plus i got black halos so that would be black all around but anyone in the local mercer county nj area i need a place to go
