Don't sweat it, I passed about 4 squad cars on my way back from the shop. Also, after two days or so, when the tint is dried or whatever, just roll down both front windows if you see any cops. Done deal

 

yeah thats a good idea especially now that its warmer... I guess my next question is what happens when you go to get inspected? are there private inspection shops that will overlook that for a small fee (hint hint) haha... where abouts in Jerz are you? which shop did you go to? price for 35%? i'm due for inspection in about a year.. so i'm on the fence... get tints and deal with it in a year or wait a long year and get tints right after i get inspected? I heard the cops in Wall NJ near where I am are real dicks about tints and specifically look at cars to make sure they are not tinted in the front. but the automatic window down feature would def. come in handy if I saw a copper... haha

i'm probly gonna end up getting them soon could come in handy for keeping the car cooler in summer... what is the point of that law anyway! how can they regulate private property like that its total bs if you ask me...

 

good point. I'm good with inspection for a while. plus, I work outside all day, so a cooler car is worth the price to me just for one summer. Anyways I payed 250 plus tax. I'm in Bergen County, but I went to the tint shop in New Brunswick. Yea, I'm at Rutgers. I'd wait until after the inspection. You're gonna hate yourself when it gets 100+ out, but it will save you a couple hundred bucks.

 

no wait, i just remembered i came up with a solution for that. My mom's a doctor and she's allowed to prescribe all around tints because my eyes are really sensitive to light
