tip chip?

no they dont... your going to have to go to your nearest giac dealer and have them solder it in... its not just programming like the ecu chip

For a tip car u have to get the ecu cihp AND the tip chip?

awe tuning is an authorized GIAC dealer.

I had mine installed there.

Nope, the tip is nt required. It just smooths out the shifting and makes it a little more agressive. I will get it eventually but dont have it yet.

Nope, the tip is nt required. It just smooths out the shifting and makes it a little more agressive. I will get it eventually but dont have it yet.
Well, it speeds up the shift time from ~1 second to ~.2 seconds.
