hey guys since i'm about to buy an audi i want to find out which one would be better to get. tiptronic or 5 spd
i want to make my decision base on which one is going to ger me better 1/4 mile times, better to drive and over all performance?
i really appreciate the help, thanks for everthing

 

of course manual will be better, lighter and u can control your gears anyways u want.

 

i have my audi in a 5 spd. i love it and would never trade my 5 spd for a auto. The shift is very easy and takes little effort once u know when to shift. I would highly recomeend a manual unless u eat, drink or talk on the phone. If u do u wont like a stick. They are for people that like to drive!

 

Well said agp96, my thoughts exactely. The A4 was made to be driven with a manual. If you have all wheel drive, the thrill of downshifting into a corner and flooring it cannot be matched with a tiptronic and it is a beautiful thing...

 

5 speed, no contest.

 

I have an auto 2001tq, its doing fine now, i ordered the giac tipchip

 

Hell i do it all talk on the old cell eat drink smoke all at the same time while i'm drivin 5spd
