Default tiptronic contacts
Are there electronic contact points under the gear selector "housing" that distinguish between the tiptronic and regular automatic?

yeah there are...I once saw a wiring diagram for it.

yes completely different parts... theres also a control module for tip thats not on regular auto...

your thinking bout swapping regular for tip?
