manuals can handle any amount of horsepower thrown at the vs tiptronic in stock form can only handle 270 chp without modding the stall etc etc.. But you can fix the laggy shifts on a tip with a giac tranny chip.

i own a tiptronic

tiptronic-it is fun, confortable when you put it back to D,
but always on gear, slower then stick not huge diffrence but little bit, auto shifting which i do not like

manual faster, really fun to drive, even better when you mod,
but if you are in heavy traffic sucks gotta do lots of shifting

overall my suggestions to you after driving a stick and a auto car if you want something for speed and you are sure that you will mod the car and take it far as possible go with stick buttt if you want something to cruise around with mods as a luxery car and you will be driving it on the street all the time go with no shifting go with tip because i drive a tip when ever racing or going fast i use tip then i put it in auto while im cruising. i hope it helped you but its your choice you could mod tiptronic it would be a fast car it wont be slow but if you do the same thing to a stick you are better off it is like a head start for you.

AUDI WITHOUT QUATTRO IS LIKE DRINKING BEER WITHOUT ALCOHOL thats what audi is known for no offense to the fwd drivers

tiptronic is just an automatic with a flicky gear **** not as good as paddle shift, 4x4 cost more to run if fuel consumption is in the equation
