Default tire ??

one of my tires has a slow leak in it and im puttin off getting 4 new tires until i can afford some nice ones and possibly some rims at the same time. but for now i picked up a used tire thats really nice and its a v rated tire and everything. i was just wondering if having one tire thats different will do anything to the quattro? i didnt really think about it at first but before i put it on i just wanna make sure. the tire is mabye 2-3mm bigger then the rest of the tires cause it has low tread wear, is that enuf to make a difference or is this nothing to worry about.

it wont mess with the quattro system as in making it bind up or anything, but you may have some weird performance issues, as in handleing, i wouldnt be rallying around on mismatched tires. i had summer wheels and tires in front and winter wheels and tires in rear for the last month or so, i just finally got the time and money to put four new snowtires on all around with matching winter wheels. the fronts were 17's and rears were 15's and i had no problems.
