Tire Help
In January I am going to have to put new tires on the A4. It is a 1997 Quattro 4 door sedan. It has the 2.8 engine and it is a 5 speed.
The car is my wife's daily driver. She commutes about 20 miles each way to the school she teaches at.
We live in the suburbs north of Chicago, Illinois.
I want to put an all weather tire on the car.
I have had very good luck with Michlein Hydro Edge tires on my All Wheel Drive Chrysler Town & country mini van. I am leaning towards those tires or the Goodyear Assurance Triple Tread tires.
The Audi is not raced, rallied or soloed. It is just daily transportation. I don't need Z rated tires nor does in need to go plus 1 or 2. It is a bone stock car.
Are there any other tires I should consider? And, if so why?
Thanks for your input

i just bought some great yokohoma all season tires from tire rack that have been great so far. we have not had any snow here yet though so i can not say how they operate in the white stuff. they are 225/45/17s. i can get you the exact name if you're interested.
