Default Tire size question

I have 235/35zr19 tires but I am wondering if that will be to small for my 19x9.5...People seem to like the stretch tire look but just curious on your opinions...

I think those won't be wide enough. I have 235mm tires on 18 X 8 wheels, so you'll need wider tires.

The tires are only 9.25" wide. Rims are 9.5".

Well you'd best go with the stretched look... Fitting 9.5" wide tires on an a4 isn't going to happen if you run bigger tires.

So basically I need to run these tires? What is the downside to this?

Hmm, I'm not sure. Best to ask somebody who's run stretched tires before. 9.5 is reaaaal wide.

it will be fine, I ran 8.5" rims on a 225 tire...so a 235 and 9.5" rim will be fine. Nothing will really be affected. You better have a nice sized lip on those things.

To be sure call up Schwabbies...they know their sh*t on that stuff. People can usually go 225's or 235's, 235's or 245's, etc (pick between two different tread width's.)

right on thanks for all your help...I have the stern st-II wheels black with a chrome lip, I know black and chrome lip is kind of played out now but I got a good deal on them and I am still a fan...They are 19x8.5 up front with a 2" lip and 19x9.5 with a 3"lip in the rear...I have 225s up front and I have 235s in my garage from my previous Rs4 wheels so I was thinking of just running 225s up front and 235s in the rear...
