Tire suggestions?

RE: Tire suggestions?
I've been happy with my Yokohama AVS ES100's. I've been a die-hard Yokohama guy for a while now, and the ES100's are nice. A bit noisier than other tires I've run, but they stick to the road better than any Dunlop or Continental tire I've run. I believe the ES100 is slated to be replaced by the new S-Drive tire, which also looks pretty sweet.

Why skimp on tires with all of the $ we spend on our cars?

I skimp on tires because I can afford to replace them every year (or even sooner). You can spend $200 for an Eagle F1 in 17" or $70 for a Hankook. It's a no-brainer. If I were rich and money didn't matter, then I would buy the F1s. If I wasn't a jacka$$ and loved drifting my A4 and doing ebrake turns every day, then I would also buy F1s. But I'm not. So I buy cheap tires and spend the rest on performance mods and new vacuum hoses.
