TGPorsche96, ok dude,Not sure how long ago u talked with the tech, but the new stuff is better, alot of comps are doing. And btw, i doubt the explosion would be severe.

About 2 weeks ago I got my 18" RS4 Replicas put on there and had the tires filled up with Nitrogen...so far so good. Cost me $30 but its free for the rest of the time. Its recomended that you go back every 5,000 miles to get them checked/serviced (they stuck one of those anoying dash stickers on me!)

 

Nitrogen doesn't explode. To oxydize it in an engine you have to be running fairly lean.

 

Costco fills there tires with Nitro, and my freinds moms 5.0 and all there cars have it and ive never seen a tire low at there house, ever. and i basicly live at there house. and like someone else said you fill it once and after that its free to do. and i doubt they could explode with flames, b/c if it did who would be dumb enough use it, esp. racers..

and your car wont turn into the hindinberg....

 

maybe i got confused or his translation from german to english wa smessed up but he said nitrogen maybe he meant a different source..i dont know...what do racers use?
