Sometimes when I'm not paying too much attention, I miss 2nd to 3rd shifts... with my right hand. I agree, left hand shifting for me would be a pain and probably not too safe for other people on the road!

if its a 96 why does it have the 98 tails, did u switch them?

Nope didn't switch anything on the car, bought it like this, and as far as I'm aware,
nothing has been changed on the car since it was bought, i.e. completly stock!

i thought we did have 96 1.8T's over here in NA? I guess its just 2.8 then right?
Nope, only in 97 did the 1.8t make a north american appearance.
