It defenitly needed it but I figured why conserve...the gas station was only a couple miles away.....Make a long story short, I did run out of gas that day.

 

I have been 125+ it really didnt feal that fast i guess thats the difference between 100+ in a civic vs german engineering that was designed for those numbers. It was scarry how fast you passed other cars though I wont try that again until the next time.

 

Yeah, I had my B7 up to 135 last weekend as well. Shame about the speed limiter, cuz it definitely has some breathing room left, even with no chip mod. If the good folks at APR are nice enought to kill the limiter in their Stage 1 software I suspect the B7 will hit 155 to 160, easily.

FYI - for the guy racing the Mustang V6 on the Turnpike, two things worth noting. First, the weight difference between the '06 coupe and convertible is 83 pounds. So the weight differential is really insignificant. What is significant is that if the car isn't modded with a Predator II flash the top speed is limited to 103. The GT is limited to 149 but there have been MANY reports of hoods coming off at about 135.
