i've been spending some time thinking on this one. My car is barely breaking 200 awhp. i could trade it in for a 2001 s4 with hardly any extra cash out of my pocket, and get 250 horses to play with, and thats stock. the deal is a 2001 s4 with 48,000 miles. 6 speed. they want 20,000. what do you guys think? anything to watch out for?

cgv, from that mod list your running closer to 150whp....but that s4 sounds like a good deal from the info above...have to see the car and drive it to say for sure though...S4s tend to be either in perfect shape, or f&#kin hammered.

 

yea i forgot to update that list. im chipped and exhausted now.

 

The s4 is 250 crank hp ... so about 190 awhp... chipping it adds quite a bit though... then a year later your k03's are pooched, and you've got some decision makin to do -- replace with k03's... or do the k04 upgrade that you will WANT to do... but have to justify spending assloads of money on the thing.
