Hi guys I have a '97 1.8t automatic non quattro with 84k on it, that doesn't want to run.!!!![:@] I've been to the dealer and they found nothing but broken engine mounts, and I already replace them. The thing is the car works good in reverse, but when I want to go foward it starts jumping (that's how I brake the old engine mounts) the revs goes from 1500 to 500 to 2500 then to 500 again the car is undriveable. After that jumping the cars it terrible rich, the exhaust became black and when shift into neutral again the car wont idle for 10 seconds (still rich) after that, and in neutral it rev ok. any idea? Im changin the vacum hoses of the engine that are not good but don't believe that those could be the problem.
