I searchrf but still have not seen an answer. Is it possible to put a 6 speed trans into an '03 1.8T - Q, 5 speed? Not looking for extream top end but traveling at even 90 for extended periods of time kills gas milage. I thought one more gear would be perfect. Appriciate any feedback. Thanks.

yes but im sure you need to change the fly wheel and clutch

 

you can also try using a 2.8 5 speed the gears are different and you get better gas millage.. but i dont see why the 6 speed wouldnt fit
