Any reasons why the triptronic will not work, just stoped working...???

 

There is magnetic switch under the shiftplate. Sometimes that gets shifted out of place and doesn't work, or sometimes it malfunctions.
There are also certain plugs in the engine compartment that might short out the tip if you went through any deep water.

 

How does that shift plate come off?

 

I to have the same issue with the tip, but I can get tip active once car is turned off and on then shifted into tip. Could it be in the center console? or is it under the car?
