Tune-up Questions Help?
Hey all
2000 A4 1.8T Quattro 73K Automatic it was a while since I did a tune up on the car. The timing belt was done at 64K & oil change at every 3 thousand miles, so I try to take good care of the engine, but I want to do a tune up soon. I was wondering what do I need to buy in terms of parts, and what do I need to change or replace anything that has to do with the tune up which will help the car run better. So help with all the advices I appreciate the gestrur

fuel filter at 80k? hmm... maybe it's time for me to do the same...
wires? you mean plug wires?
I'm at 73k now. When should I consider replacing my timing belt? Also, is this something I can likly figure out how to do on my own? I would really like to know how, but if it's going to be a total pain or dangerous (to the engine) then I'd consider having it done. Thoughts?

yeah you need a TB change ASAP - it would be an 8 out of 10 for difficult - just because of everything you have to take off to get at it. If your good with cars - go for it.
Fuel filter is supposed to be a lifelong part according to Audi but if you have bad gas it would funk that all up - it fairly difficult to do but their are DIY's available for everything here
