Default turbo

i replaced my turbo today with a k04, evrything was put back together the same way it was taken off. i got the direct bolt on. after driving the car, i realized that the turbo was heating up...alot ...it was actually glowing red with heat. the engine temperature was fiine...it never overheated...any suggestions anyone?
could be putting the gastkets the incorrect way casue the heat problem, could the turbo be clogged?

did you install all the coolant lines correctly?

gaskets could be a prblem, did you use metal gaskets with silcone gasket sealer

does it drive fine... whats your oil temp at...? its normal for it to glow a little you may have never noticed before the swap so you might have no point of reference.
