Default which turbo?????????????????

Hey guys. I am getting a front mount, fuel injecters, chip, cluch, flywheel, and a short shifter. I already have dv 007 and millteck exhaust. I am going to get a turbo kit but I am not sure which one to get the 28RS or the 3071RS what do you guys think? Also if you can give me some ideas on a cluch and flywheel that would be great. I am going to order all of it, this weekend.

Southbend, SPEC, and AWE are some of the more popular clutch kits around here.

As for the turbo, it depends what you want to do with your car. The 3071 will have more power, but more turbo lag. Maybe some of the BT guys can chime in for some more specifics.

lol swans. seriously tho dude search before you ask questions. ok so which turbo you want depends on how much power your lookin for and how much money you wana spend. easiest cheapest way is with a k04. you dont have to swap anythin else out. its a direct "bolt on" replacement. but ur prolly gona max out a little under 300hp. with a gt28rs you will get more power but you will have to swap a bunch of stuff out as well. maxes around mid to high 300hp i believe. and that costs more money. if you want even more power go with a GT3071R. maxes out at about mid 400 hp range i believe. again you will have to change other stuff as well. however with the bigger turbo you will have more turbo lag. k04 has the least lag while GT3071R has the most. before you hit about 4700rpms the gt28rs will be producing more hp than the 3071. after about 4700 rpms the 3071 will rape any of the other turbos. in terms of reliability it is inversely related to power. more power less reliable. so if its a daily driver i wouldn't suggest the 3071.

and ya south bend clutch

o and i forgot to mention the GT2871R. pretty much same as GT3071R only 50 less hp/tq

yeah, I would suggest a t3t4!....lol. But seriously. I have the eliminator gt28rs turbo with atp software and 440cc injectors w/ fmic, 3" exhaust, and 3" inlet. It is not fast enough for me, and I dynoed at 275whp before the fmic, which roughly translates to 340chp. I am selling my kit to go with a t3t4 setup, so I say the bigger you can start with the better, but I also love the feeling of turbo lag....
