Default turbo help??

I just got an oil change a couple of days ago and on my way to get my oil changed I saw another A4 and smoked him, anyway I noticed that the next day my car didnt run as strong, im not sure if it was after I ran my car hard(didnt redline and oil was at level) or if its the oil I put in or if its just a coincidence, before, I can feel the turbos kick in at about 3 or 3500 rpms and now I cant feel it and it runs like a non turbo, any suggestions? by the way my car in idle seems to have a light shake to it and its not the motor mounts and there is sufficient pressure in all 4 cylinders.

You have a VAG, if so VAG it and see what codes come up. It should have nothing to do with the oil change, we have an oil pump too. Are you chipped, and check for boost leaks, pretty much check your hose's.

heh.....your car only has one turbo....(just for future reference)...not to rag on you or anything just thought it was funny...and you should start feeling the turbo around 18-1900 rpms. It is VERY small.

Since your car started becoming a lot slower, has the outside temperature risen very much? I know on my car I can feel a noticeable difference between a 40 degrees night and a 75 degrees day....
And if there is no cel, then your turbo is probably ok. BTW, is your car chipped?

you need to vag it.......the cel might take about 50 miles to come on....has happened to me before. ...

sry....vag is short for vag-com....it is a program many ppl have on their laptops that can access the ecu of your car. You can do lots of cool stuff with it too...ross-tech.com has it for sale. Well worth the 250 for the cable.

I drove it more than 50 miles and nothing has came on, oh yeah I noticed when I punch it in 3rd and its at a low rpm it almost has a deep intake sound but all my intake is intact and nothing is loose or broken, I can hear the turbo spool up still but no power

Um. stupid question. Have you checked for obstructions inside your airbox and air intake? Last air filter change? Sounds like your car can't breath.
