Default Turbo Timers

so i am looking at buying a turbo timer since the Greddy ones are fairly inexpensive and i think it will help increase the life of my engine and turbo. I am wondering though, can i mount it in spot where my upper cupholder is? Has anyone done this? is there possibly a DIY on it? cuz i think that would be a sick spot to put one. Thanks Broski's

Dunno bout upper cup holder, but i know people have put them next to their e-brake in that little rectangular space. I mean its not super necessary to get a timer unless youre at the track or unless you drive like a maniac all the way to your garage. onepoint8tee just had a thread about timers so if you can find that it might have some info and whether or not its really necessary.

just let the car idle and cool down for a few minutes after running it hard. And spend the timer $ on mods that make u go!

That'd be a cool spot for a timer if you get one.

mines is mounted where the upper cup holder use to be it was pretty easy just remove the cup holder and wrap some electrial tape around the turbo timer to give it a tighter fit so it doesn't slide when you push any of the buttons
