Turbo Timers
so i am looking at buying a turbo timer since the Greddy ones are fairly inexpensive and i think it will help increase the life of my engine and turbo. I am wondering though, can i mount it in spot where my upper cupholder is? Has anyone done this? is there possibly a DIY on it? cuz i think that would be a sick spot to put one. Thanks Broski's
Dunno bout upper cup holder, but i know people have put them next to their e-brake in that little rectangular space. I mean its not super necessary to get a timer unless youre at the track or unless you drive like a maniac all the way to your garage. onepoint8tee just had a thread about timers so if you can find that it might have some info and whether or not its really necessary.
Check this out too, I just found it on the zine.

That'd be a cool spot for a timer if you get one.

i have my tt in the spot for the upper cup holder. Its a nice spot, It doesn't fit perfect in there but it still looks cool there.

do u have it secured in there at all? does it move around at all? dude i would much appreciate it if you could possibly write a DIY on installation on that bad boy. Cuz i will probably go with the Greddy too.
mines is mounted where the upper cup holder use to be it was pretty easy just remove the cup holder and wrap some electrial tape around the turbo timer to give it a tighter fit so it doesn't slide when you push any of the buttons
