What kind of A4 do you have, is it a B5 (pre 2002) or B6 (2002+)?
I have the 1998 A4 1.8t Quattro

I tell everyone who is not doing a turbo to go giac, they have most aggressive stuff out. Theres a guy over on az that ran 14.2 with his ko3 and some giac software, pretty impressive.
thats pretty good, hey didn't you have a chip on your ride? if so whats it worth it

I know, he said he was making 250hp with his ko3 and special giac software (with some obvious other goodies). Seems like a pretty cool guy, nows hes running i think a t-28s and running 12s.
Yea he got giac software and i believe raised boost tuned for either 100 or 103 oct. Now hes runing the gt35r turbo.

Then thats the kit I would go with, K04 is a reliable turbo and it doesn't give too much power. If you get injectors, software (chip), the turbo kit and a front mount you'll have all the power you really need. You could probably get a GT28RS (the quick spool) kit if you want a lot of power but its gonna cost you a **** load to install it and tune it. You'll deffinatly need software, fmic, and an exhaust to even think about using that turbo. Who knows if your tranny can even handle that much power.
