Im stuck with this 97 ndbw Auto. I really need more than my chip and exhaust. (Got the cat Borla is comming in 2 weeks). Is there any turbo I can upgrade to or will my tranny not be able to handle it?

Me thinks you should stop investing in this car, and start investing in... umm... investments? Then, when you have enough cash... sell your auto, and buy a 5 spd. You'll be much happier in the end... and in the meantime, you'll have something to look forward to!

 

There's no need for me to sell the car. I get a new one in 2 years. So does anyone know if I can bolt up a k04?

 

2 years is a long ways away... which I guess can strengthen both our arguments... perspective is everything! I'd sooner enjoy the next 2 years though.

Ooooh 6 spd even better! I sort of want my tranny to grenade.. so I can do something crazy. At the very least install a 2.8 with money earned selling my body to old women.

 

Couldn't I just do a tranny swap? I have access to a garage and I'm surround by people who know what to do. Should I just buy a cheep tranny and pay my friends to put it in. My brother bought his S4 in and auto, and when he heard about the possible super charger kits out he swapped it back to the dealer for a stick.
