$700 for thehot side fromthe engine to stock cats. (thats about our price atleast)
Seriously? An exhaust mani for a 1.8t to use gt28's and up (t4 flange, I think) is $900 for a tubular mani. How are you guys going to do it for cheaper?
We are confident that all the materials necessary will come in at less than $400. As I stated in the first post the headers will cost at least $700 but may cost as muchas$1200 depending on how complex the system turns out and interest in the product. We are still in the planning stages so these numbers are purely estimates. I realized I said $700 in the second post but I was speaking hypothetically. Sorry I didn’t mean to mislead anyone. Currently we are only producing ls1 headers and twin turbo intercoolers. We are having enough trouble keeping up with demand on these which is why the 30v headers have been put on the back burner.

Btw if anyone is interested in our twin turbo intercoolers please pm. I think these would work great in an S4. Satisfaction guaranteed!

Sorry about my statement, i have had people mess with me before with this question and now that i finaly know more stuff about it i went all out...

but on the other note stand alone ECUs arent that much, unless you think 2000 is alot of money, but if you drive an audi im sure 2gs shouldnt be much...the rear mounted turbo system is 3000 thats already 5gs plus installation for both its about $7,500 maybe alittle more maybe alittle less...i have already gotten quotes on my car mine total will be $1,002 for installation and customization of turbo piping and oil lines, i can put it in my self after custom work is done the stand alone will be around 1,200 to put in, maybe its more expensive where you live, i dont know but either way its not gonna be a **** load more then if anyone where to go 1.8t but yes it will cost alot more but its always fun to have a custom built turbo system and a ecu that you can fully control on a 96 since 96s stock ECUs Hitachi cant be chipped...
well you can drop a vr6t in for 8k if you do the work yourself and have twice the power...

again sorry if i sound like im coming on to strong

P.S I have proof of a rear mounted turbo v6 audi here
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/780860

i never doubted it. i've posted this vid on the forums before- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlgtxWDZB-k

there his car domain, his name is Anthony....yeh hes pushin more then 320HP on a 96 Audi V6 AWD....NOW WHO SOUNDS STUPID?? jonus079 mmm...maybe get your facts straight and research some more.....
320hp and 340+whp are 2 entirely different things. about 80hp difference to be exact. i highly doubt a 12v w/ an sts system will push over 400hp, even with standalone. i would at least use a 30v, that 12v is crap.

and all that aside, do you even have a dyno of this 320hp 12v?

Ok lol its all good chaos92287, and actually me and Anthony talk to each other alot, the motor is worthy of 340HP we do alot of research and **** to see what these motors can handle, but its pushing the limit yes but it will run...I just wanted to say yeh its possible. To tell you the truth, i dont want more then 400HP, i like racing, dragin and all that but i also just like to look nice and chill when im driving so i want a nice med fast car but looks nice at the same time, i dont want no 600HP anyways i have a "FWD"

By the way...i love those black and red center cap rims....where can i get those :P

im sure it can make 340 but im just doubting 340 to the wheels. but hopefully u can prove me wrong. i just also wanted to throw in the vr6 idea, since its double the power with only slightly more money.

and they are just s4 rims i painted- https://www.audiforums.com/m_672863/tm.htm

actually, STS turbos are specialty made for rear mounting, they work the same as if they were mounted in the front, goto STSturbo.com for more info...Its a very well known company for their rear turbo systems...My friend Anthony gets into boost pretty fast actually. But i know what you mean i though the same as well when i first herd about rear mounted turbo systems.

Chaos, very nice idea man, i just thought they sold those in black so i can buy, i mean your way is cheaper but i dont think my stock rims will look good enough on my car like it does on yours lol...but i might sure try tomorrow when i order my lowering springs because right now 16 inch rims looks very small lol
