Turn signal behaving wierd!!!
Guys, my '03 A4 is having some issues with turn signal. When I select the right turn signal, my left blinks for a while and then its totally confused (Also confuses the people driving behind me)!!! But my left turn signal works fine.
I also noticed that the lane change turn signals are fine. My bulbs are all fine. My hazards work fine. Its only the hard right turn signal.
The dealer suggested me to change my Hazard switch and I did it just a month ago (I paid $37 at dealer). Everything was working fine until recently.
Apart from the hazard switch, is there anything that I am missing to check upon? Please help me with this.

So you have a problem with your turn signal and the dealer told you to replace the hazard switch? I would of thought they would have told you to replace the turn signal switch. Just a thought anyway. Could just be dirty.
Yep! I was asked to replace the Hazard switch. Do you think I should check the turn signal switch too?
I would be surprised if that be the case because when I put the new hazard switch, things were all fine upto a month or so.

Sure. Thanks. I will check for it. I also read about some flasher fluid in www.audizine.com. Do you know what it is?
lol... turn signal switches are known to go bad in these cars. mine has gone bad in both my 2.8's, kinda crappy but its cheap if you take it to an independent mechanic, its only like 150 to fix.
but ya sometimes it is your hazard switch not working as well... it could be either/both.
