Default TWO piece clear corners

i have a 98 1.8t with the ugly two piece headlights, but i dont really have the $350 to drop on really nice euro lights. ecs has just the corner piece, clear and amber free, and i think itll be a lot nicer and for only $80. i cant imagine that its not going to be well worth only $80. I KNOW i should just save up for the one piece upgrade but its just not going to happen right now, plus theres plenty more i want for that kind of money. im not really looking into ebay knockoffs either. anyway, has anyone seen/bought these? my lights now are in good condition, pretty clear and scratch free, do you think they will match nicely and not look too new next to my "older other piece of a headlight"?

it would probably be even more cost effective to take out the corner pieces and just bust out that amber thing, and then get the turn signal bulbs that are silver but light up amber

are you even able to take out the amber reflector thing with the two piece lights? i didnt think you could for some reason, ill have to try and check it out tomorrow.

and im sure some ebay ones would look pretty decent and work great, but i really dont want them getting foggy, and with it getting cold out now, itd only be worse. i especially dont want to have to do any trimming if theyre not really going to be worth it.

yea I always see write ups for the DIY clear corner for the 1 piece headlights. never the two piece, so idk....I'm sure it could be done if you really wanted it though.
