The dealer said that there are security screws on The computer?? If I take them of can I get new screws? They said that's how they check to see If the Computer was modified.

heh heh - the dealer is trying to scare you from getting chipped I see.
They can indeed check to see if the computer has been modified if they take the ECU out of the car, open up its aluminum casing and inspect the electronics. Most times they can tell if they simply drive it (unless you have APR or GIAC program switching capabilities).
What I did was buy an completely new ECU, had that chipped, and when I went in for maintenance, I swapped my installed ecu back to the stock one. There are some codes left in there that can point to what you did, but nothing that can tell them for sure. (ie, 'loss of power' code, 'Exceeded Max mph' code - if you went over the normal governor's speed. The governor is removed by most chips)

Yeah, I'm with brrman on this one. The extra ECU is the best way to go. When I did mine, it didn't make a difference because I was at 90,000 miles. It also depends on who chips it. There are several companies out there that offer programming for the 1.8t.
