Default Unchipped = unhappy :-(

Switched back to stock mode in preparation for visiting the dealer for service tomorrow. Had forgotten what it was like without the chip - it really sucks! If you are running a stock 1.8T and have not chipped yet, run (don't walk) to your local chip dealer and get it done right now!! It's the best mod you'll ever make.

Will be vagging tonight to make sure there are no error codes.

Thats cool man.. At least you can go back to stock so you can appreciate your chip more. I completely forget what stock feels like now. I do remember it being way under powered.

When I first got my GIAC on my b5, I was a little dissapointed. You could only really feel an extra short burst of power in first and second. After about a week though my ecu had adapted and it was very noticeable. Also, if you get chipped in the summer, and you don't have an FMIC, the car can get heat soke quickly and you will hardly know your chipped.
