Default Update: Carnage

Motor is ripped apart, melted the pistons, parts of the rings were in the oil pan (no wonder my compression sucked) Went to check the other stuff yesterday, and found the turbo had about .75" or horizontal shaft play whcih sent the blades into the hosuings so thats fvcked. Basically time to start over. If I kill one more motor, this car is gonna be parted out.

How much power are you putting out? what psi on what turbo? how many cfms does the turbo flow? Sorry about the 20 questions I just want a few specs before I say any thing about the 1.8t motor.

i guess the only people that can have a car as quick as yours are the ones that can look at that "carnage" and see someting other than a big metal mess.

Wow TomRitt! Nice work!

Makes me think twice about the mods I have planned over the next months......well...maybe just a little.

Mine still has to be a daily driver.

Damn Tom, sorry to hear about your engine. I am glad I just picked up a spare engine for 250$ so if mine goes out when I get the gt35r, I will have a spare. I'm sure you will get it right this time, you seem like a pretty bright guy. I wish you the best of luck and keep us posted on what is going on.
