Thanks very much. I'm probably going to wait until spring to paint, since up here we get enough crap in the roads that I'll probably just end up damaging some of the finish on a chunk of road salt or something. I've been looking at those lights for awhile, although I wanted to get the chrome housing ones (which don't seem to be available anymore, at least from Makoto). Still, seeing the black ones on your silver car is cool - they look really good as I was hoping they would. I was more hesitant to go for those, just based on the ad - I wanted to see them on a silver car. It's a good look, and if I can't find the chrome ones, I'll be happy ordering those.

Much appreciated on the info for the paint too

Thanks! It's definitely not hard, I recommend that anyone with a free Saturday give it a shot...because I love it. I need to take a good, non-glaring picture from the back because that's the best part...it looks like there's a body kit on it or something and the whole car looks lower...anyway, I dig it.

And as for the wheels...well, I don't know...yours must have gotten stained somehow because I don't have any issues with them being yellow. But by the end of the week, they'll be gunmetal grey from all of the break dust. Lame.

Thank you kindly.

It feels great to step back, admire the car and know that I helped make it awesome.

It looks fantastic. NICE job!!! It's great to see a female DIY when most can't even check their own oil. I love it.
