Default upkeep

hey i'm new here and am lookin to buy an 2.8 a4. before the 1.8t guys start bashin its because 1. theres a shortage of 12vs and audis in general and 2. I can get a better deal (good ol supply and demand right?) What I am asking is how much does upkeep cost on a 2.8 quattro in the 90k range a year?

u kno not all 2.8s are 12v. i would suggest a 30v which are 98+. depends on how and where u drive. and also how many miles u put on it

actually the car is a 98 2.8q. I know it had the timing belt replaced which is a bigger deal. I was wondering what some of the more common problems I could face. like the abs module.

ahh i c. well there's rly not much to name besides like odd ball problems with eletrical system sumtimes, brake dust (if u consider it a problem). that's about it really. most other problems are mostly wear and tear.

Control arms and tie rod ends are known parts to commonly fail... Coil packs, ABS module, ignition switch, bad pixels in HUD for later B5 models are the most common. Most everything else is normal routine maint.
You may not experience all or any of those problems.A couple are also recall items.

just thought of another one, the secondary air injection pump and lines. gosh i hate those things. but thank god for the system lol. sry im weird
