urgent bosot gauge issue

Default urgent bosot gauge issue

ok im installing the apr vdo pod boost gauge and i have done almost everything i have drilled the hole put the nylon hose down the hole and its not coming out ?? how far should i drill
through one layer of plastic or two??

One layer. The nylon line is probably rolled up like a coil and is hard to fish out through the other side. You have to take the knee pannel off to grab it though, but Im sure you knew that.

dude, heres a quick write up I did.....nylon hose sux...I replaced it with silicone which also sucked and I now have copper with a brass T and it is freakin awesome....well hered da ***WRITE UP***

same idea...this may help....hopefully, I don't drill if I don't have to....if you want me to take any pics of my boost line or t or anything else lemme know...

one time a guy I worked with drilled through the firewall and right into the power steering deal on my bosses taurus...it was amazing I loled for days...

be careful drilling holes!

just drill the hole in the bottom left corner of the back of the air duct. like onepoint8tee said the nylon line is probably wound up and you just cant see it. try to straighten it out as much as you can. theline is probably hitting something back there so lie down under the steering wheel with a flashlight, take down the knee panel and you should find it.

if you have to, tape some colored tape to the end of theline so it stands out when you are looking for it.

woot did it with out help i was on for 12 min checking saw nuting so i said screw it but thanks for the help you guys btw i spike around 11psi is that norma for the 2001

for ******* sure i crimped it on to hard and the hose litterly fell of thank god apr nnoticed that and sent in two

it was in the instructions durgh lol thansk for the help

10/11 psi is right for 01. Your vaccum reads about 20 right? Are you going to get a chip or what?
