Default Urgent timing belt question

How do I get the fan assembly apart?

I took the fan off, but how do I take off the fan wheel that it is attached to?

I cant get to the bolt behind it to get the last bottom timing belt cover bolt off. Maybe a swivel would work, but I dont have one handy. Is the fan wheel easy or hard to remove?

So I just turn the wheel to remove it? Holding the pulley still?

Is that what you mean?

Thanks!

Yes, that is the guide i am using.

However, it just says "remove the lower timing belt cover - four bolts.

I cannot get to the 4th bolt because it is behing the fan wheel. I cannot get a socket on it to remove it. it gives no instructions on removing the fan wheel. I have already removed the fan itself.

I am going to try a swivel.

I am not sure what you mean, if I grab the pully with a belt, the fan wheel still spins both ways.

wtf are you talking about? he was pointing him to one of the best tutorials on the timing belt job.. its not very easy just understand a posters rambling explanation.. but if the tutorial has pics then it helps an assload ...

if someone here would write up a timing belt DIY of that caliber we wouldnt send people elsewhere.. unfortunately we have to...
