Actually I'm curious too. HAVE you ever worked a job or taken on responsibility??? If you don't want to come off as a careless young punk then maybe we need to know more about you. So tell us, lol. Nosy people (like me) want to know.

 

Growing up in VA, I had to learn a lot about the VA laws for passing inspection and about the cops... Be careful on the VA/NC border along 95... They love to shark bait people... Have you ever had a speeding ticket before? If not, I would say do pray of judgement. That is what I did when I was 16 and recieved my first speeding ticket... I was lucky because a month after 3 years passed, that is when i recieved my second speeding ticket...

I know that it sucks and I wish you the best of luck with it...All the guys are right though - you should return your car to stock, get a state inspection and hire an attorney to take care of your moving viloation...

 

I passed 4 cops this week, 2 on the backroads.. sitting there with radar guns out. Didn't get pulled over.

Again, theres a time and place for everything... I'm almost 18 so if I already had a ticket I'd be rather pissed. Don't wanna raise that insurance early, I already pay $200 a month to my parents[&:]

 

All i gotta say is that i've been on both sides of wrecks. I've been in totaled cars and i've cut people out of totaled cars. and without fail, almost every time its some idiot who thought they was invincible(disregards driving laws becuase they "know more")and either flips themself or flips someone else. Alot of the time were not cutting a person out were recovering whats left of a body.So my .02,do your best to make resonable judgements when driving.

Also, explorers can't drift. been there done that, wasn't driving but 50mph into trees isn't fun

 

If you think you can take it to court and prove something is wrong even the least bit, maybe its worth it. I got pulled over and got a 360 dollar ticket. i was going like 25 or more over. No reckless driving nothing. Thats a bit much if you ask me, so im taking that to court just to see what i cant do. Cops can suck, always in the worst spot, and the best part is that if they are having a bad day, so will you haha. wish you luck.

 

dang, i was just like you man... i got crazy tickets when i was younger... im talking ive been pulled over at least 35 times and im 21. i have gotten over 15 tickets equaling over 40 violations. I have gotten a couple of them dropped but most are on my record. I have been through my 30 day suspension, 3 month suspension, 6 month suspension, and year suspension. The only way I'm still insured is cuz my family has been with best friends with the biggest state farm guy in the southwest and he doesnt allow any tickets to be claimed on my insurance so it has not gone up at all. I know, i am very very fortunate. I used to be just like you bro, but dont let these people get to you. I promise one day you'll realize that the only time to drive like that is on back roads when your all alone, or at 3am on open freeways, and even than its not the smartest thing in the world. I have had my fast cars, I have gone through that stage where every time I accelerate I redline it and shift hard into second and I realized that all it does is put an incredible amount of wear on your car and you pay soooooooo much money in traffic tickets that its just not worth it any more. Lol yeah I understand I've been there but you will get my point as well when you get to my ripe old age of 28 and you realize you hurt an innocent person by driving like a dick and that you have to pay 450 a month out of your own pocket when you make about a grand a month just to insure that sweet ride but it's all good kid have fun while you can

 

Wow, that's a lot of tickets AteUrV8. I've been pulled over once, gotten 1 ticket, because I got pulled over, and I'm 19. I wish he would have just been like...well...you're a crazy Nor*Cal kid from up in the hills, I'll let you off with a warning, but he didn't. I hate So*Cal now, just kidding. I understand why he was a little upset, I kinda merged fast and swung into the middle lane (all one motion) and I checked for trafic in the lane I was going into, I just didn't see the cop riding his little motorcycle on the other side of the minivan I went infront of to get into the middle lane. I hate to see money go out the door like that, and I don't even know how much it's going to be. And it's not like I don't make any money, but seeing it "wasted" like that sucks. Could be going better places, like...like a 40lb Image Dynamic 12" sub, haha, wow, I'm glad I have a connection with car audio...dealer price baby, same with car parts, gotta lot the job

 

Pablo ottawa and amze, just because you asked, I have been working since I was 15and I bought thiscar when i was 17. I paid 13k without the help of my parents and I pay all of my expenses in addition to that. All the while I have been able to maintain a 3.2 gpa in school.

 

I can't help you on the wreckless ticket, but as for the others, since you bought the car used, tell the court that it came like that, and if you have made the corrections you might be able to get out of 4 of the tickets.
