RE: VAG COM
I called the dealer, first of all I don't know what kind of operation they are running but they said they can't give part numbers out over the phone?? WTF!? they also said they only have the stock race valve for my car which I know is bs... why do they give such a hard time about everything? they asked for my VIN # if the car was bought there and my name and all of this other bs..... I'm sick and tired of them and I will def. be bringing my business elsewhere... $90/ hour labor charge give me an f'in break!

RE: VAG COM
stay away from the dealership, they're notorious for ripping people off. As for th limp mode it's probably your MAF, same thing happened to me where it wouldn't come back even after i restarted and i had a code for the MAF too. Replaced it and it's fine now.

RE: VAG COM
The part number for just about every part is stamped or written on it somewhere.
The MAF part number should be 06A 906 461L. I have an '01 and that is the part number on mine.
The N75 part number was posted on here last week or the week before. Do a search and you'll find it.

I dont know of a safe or effective way of cleaning the maf, thats why i asked how you were gunna do it.. ECS deffinately has the cheapest one's ive seen around.. Or you could try a junk yard with a lower mileage one..

RE: VAG COM
hey they make MAF cleaner. I went to NAPA looking for aerosol electronic cleaner and there it was with a picture of a MAF on the front and everything... cost about 6 bucks... cleaned mine seems to be working better... we'll see.... dries quick.... I would recommend doing this if you are losing boost or have K&N filters. that's why I did it...
