so i disconnected my ecu and apparently activated an immobilizer? i have access to vag-com but dude said he doesnt know how to fix it. his suggestion was come on the forums and see if anyone here can help me cuz he said im more than welcome to use the tool. anybody got anything for me? ANYTHING is appreciated

I unplugged the ecu many many time but never got any problems.

 

thats exactly what i dont understand. i really didnt even do anything at all, so why is my car all of a sudden so ****ed

 

Give some info about your and and problem ? so it does not run at all ?

take the (-) again from the battery and wait like 20mins and plug it back in. see if it fix it or not. make sure you got radio code handy.

 

step by step:

1) unplugged (-) terminal

2) ran power wire behind ecu to trunk

3) tapped what i thought was remote wire on the amp in my trunk and hooked it to amp for subs

4) grounded power from amp to bolt in trunk

5) unhooked wire that runs to ecu to attatch power wire for amp to (+) terminal

6) connected (-), amp got power, great

7) tried to start car, barely started at all, and then when i pressed the gas it would go to 1500 rpm then back down, jerking back and forth and barely creeping forward

8) unhooked everything having to do with subs/amp. retried but the car wouldnt start at all

so now im here, searching for answers. i tried disconnecting (-) and waiting 30 mins with all aux systems on, still nothing. HELP
