Valves bent on 1.8T, any good shops in So Cal?
So my timing belt went out and I went ahead and replaced that, but when I tried to start her up I had the same sound as before, so I'm trying to figure out where I can find a good audi specialist or shop in So Cal, I'm trying to spend as least as possible and if I can do it myself I will. All suggestions and comments would help. By the way, the car is a 97 A4 1.8T, 2wd, 85k miles.
Your going to need to clean/repair your pistons. The valves bend because they kissed the pistons. Your going to need new intake valves. I dont remember if just the 4 center ones touch or all 12 can.
