so i was looking on AWE's site for a boost gauge and mount, and why is the VDO boostgauge/stering mount kit $86, but the APR gauge kit is $139...im guessing VDO is crap then???

No, theyr a pretty good guage company, I mean thats what BMW's use. and other than that, I've seen them on countless other racecars.

Audi uses vdo too duuuh

 

I just remember BMW acutually has VDO all over there gauges

 

look at your gauges in front of the steering wheel....you'll see a big "VDO" on them.

 

Damn you, My cars in FL and im in TX, now I won't be able to sleep. How the **** could I miss something like that, put a pick up for me.

 

i think it may only be on the early model A4s...probably a pre-99.5 thing. the new gauges are still made by vdo, they just don't have the stamp on the front like the older ones...iirc, the 'VDO' stamp is right in the middle, at the bottom of the display...but i might be wrong about that.

 

man, your killing me, i've been allover my 97 and I've never seen that. It would make sence thou, they are a german, or someting company and there gauges look better than any other i've seen.

 

just for you, flyboy....i'm gonna go out to my car and get a shot of my gauges....
