hi, I have a big problem, I have a 1999 A4 1.8 when I am driveing my car want go pass 4300rpm, when it gets to 4300rpm it cuts out like its the redlineing but its only at 4300rpm can anyone help me out? Could it be a speed sensor on one of the wheels going bad or unpluge? Any help would be helpful thanks.

Not sure.. it could be the speed sensor, but you'd think you'd get a code... got a vag-com?

A scanner that can read VW/Audi.. check out ross-tech.com and then look in ebay for a cable..

Or find a local shop that has a scanner...
