Default Wanting to buy a used 03 Audi Quattro Turbo AWD Sport

Hi all,

I am wanting to buy a used 03 Audi Quattro Turbo AWD Sport. The older gentleman selling the car states he has all paperwork of maintenance that has been done to car as he is the original owner. He also states he has just done this list of items recently

Selling my Audi A4 AWD, since I just invested in a new Audi.

Fully Loaded, Sport Package, all wheel drive, heated leather seats, sunroof
RUNS AND DRIVES AMAZING, absolutely zero issues, handles perfect in the snow
Have receipts of all the following maintenance
-Full service has been done at 110k miles included:
Timing belt kit, tensioners, pulleys, water pump, all gaskets, coil packs, spark plugs, thermostat, vacuum hoses, and serpentine belt ($2400)
-NEW Tires ($650)

do you think this would be a good car to purchase with fear of not having to put money into right a way?

Thanks all

You don't say how much he is asking for the car or the current mileage. Based on what it here I would say most the expensive items have been addressed and that would provide some piece of mind. If the mileage on the car is still close to the 110k service mileage then I would say this owner really took car of the car. If I was looking for a car I would consider it.

Also I have read that the 1.8 is under powered for the car is this true? It's basically between this car and a 2006 Saab Aero. Any input would be greatly appreciated

I think size wise you are fine. Best to sit in the car to make sure you like the fit. I don't think the 1.8 is as good as the 2.0. I am sure some would disagree with me. Don't know much about the Saab so really can't suggest one over the other. Except to say that I tend to like the interior of the Audi's better than the Saab.

Thanks for your input. I have read that others have stated the 2.0 is better than the 1.8
