Default Warped Rotor(s)??

went for a drive today and felt something that was not normally there. when i hit the brakes (not even that hard) it seems like there something not right with the brakes... they seem to be makng a subtle vibration and tiny movment in the steering wheel. its barely noticible but its the type of thing that gets on your nerves really really quick... i got the car going fast, put it in neutral, stuck my head out the window to see if i could hear anything as i braked hard but heard nothing. the car has 16,000 on it and a 2002... should this be happening?... i drive pretty hard and brake hard occasionally as well, could they be warped? is there a way to see if they are?

yes there is a very good chance they can be warped. jack up the front end and take off your wheels to check it out. i do as well brake pretty hard but its occasional, but the occasional time of braking hard can really but some pressure on your rotors and deff your pads. but then again, u could just need new pads, but i wouldnt think so cuz i need new ones and the only feeling or sound i get is from slowing down slowly and they squeek like a mother. im going to do my pads here pretty soon, im goin with the mintex red box pads with sensors. hope all goes well.

now that you mention it prior to this my brakes were squeaking last week when going around 5 mph... but i also heard them do it several times when i wasnt even on the brakes. il take a look, with luck all i will need are new pads and not new rotors. well if i need new rotors i guess it would be the time to upgrade toa bigger brake kit

Not near future.. i want my windows tinted, k04 and exhaust and i keep telling myself ill be done after that.. But wheels would deffinately complete the package so i dunno, but not soon.. Why do you ask? They are 16in. by the way.
