I dont want to pass up an opportunity to go to my first gtg/show just because some ppl are stealing cars. Don't they have security or anything? I would be willing to take turns with people watching our whips if anyone's interested. JohnnyBravo you're huge right? can I hire you to stand near my car and kick anyone's a$$ who goes near it? hahah!

does anyone know how they were stealing them? breaking windows? disabling alarms? and hot wiring or what?

EDIT: btw: if anyone needs a place to stay I live about 30 minutes away in manasquan on the jersey shore and welcome anyone who wants to save some cash. space is limited to about 3 or 4 peeps and my roomies tend to get pretty crunked on the weekends but I just thought I'd throw that out there.

 

99.999% of the cars stolen were B5 S4's because they are stupid easy to get into. Take out your ECU or pull of a section of intercooler piping or yank your coilpacks do somthing to disable the car if you're worried.

 

i just heard alot of people had stoff stolen off thier cars and break ins and a few stolen cars.. yea im huge i guess, i would pound anyone to the ground that touch any one of the forum members cars, i hate peoeple who steal and reck things.. alot of people put so much time and effort into thier cars just to have some low life mess it all up..

is it that good, i mean what gets sold their.. i dont really need anything other then some red top injectors and some piping for my free FMIC ).. i must say i have gotten rather lucky with this car, even with some of the minor things that have gone wrong i keep running to great deals..

 

im gonna be there sunday with my father, i'd be willing to meet up with any other forum guys if you'll be there. o yea, and i still don't get why these things are called Waterfest and H2O...

things on the list of possible buys:
-spring/shock combo or coilovers if the discount is insane
-sway(s) possibly (if i get just one should i go with a rear sway?)
-shortshifter (i know stratmosphere will be there)
-if GIAC has a some good discounts i may go for a 30v chip
-and other cool little things i may see while there

 

Because the cars are water cooled :P

I'll be there both days, my car is going to be in or around the AWE booth.

And yeah, you can get pretty much everything you listed there.

there is literally next to nothing you wont be able to get there if it's for a dub or audi. If they don't have it at the show, you can obviously order it from them and have 'em ship it too you and still get the show discounts.
