Got another newb ? for you guys. When i got my audi about a month ago i noticed the remote did not seem to pick up unless i was with about 10 feet of the car. I assumed that the bateries may be weak in the remote so i got them changed, but it is still just as weak, it works, but only when very close to the car, any suggestions???

 

There was a notice sent out by audi to relocate the antenna lead so it would increase the remote locking range. email me for the pdf.

 

...why do u need to unlock your car from +10 feet away anyway...?

 

There is also the chin trick...

Press the remote under your chin. I can gain about 20 feet.

yea..mine is kinda shady too...i have to basically stand on the damn car for the remote to work....it also depende where i stand...Jest...I heard that placing the remote by your bellybutton works pretty well too
